Abdul started Hyderabad AC Scrap to buy old air conditioners, the item most households get the worst deal on. An AC's value is mostly the copper and the compressor inside it, and that's easy to under-weigh or under-price if the customer can't see what's going on.
So the business runs on one rule: you see the weight, you agree the rate, you're paid before anything leaves. It's simple to promise and easy for you to check, which is the point.
We're a young business. You won't find "No. 1" badges or award logos here. What you will find is the scale, the rates with a date on them, and reviews you can read on Google.

You read the scale
The digital display faces you. Each material is weighed separately, and you see the number before it's written down.

You can test the scale
Put something of known weight on it first. A sealed 1-litre water bottle should read just over 1 kg. A 5 kg bag of atta should read about 5 kg.

Rates are published
Our per-kg rates are on the rates page with the date we last changed them. You can compare before we arrive.

Paid before loading
Cash or UPI, on the spot. A UPI payment also gives you a record of the amount and the date.

Questions people ask at the door
How do you work out the price?
For loose metal, it's weight × the per-kg rate for that grade. For appliances like ACs and fridges we either quote per piece or weigh the parts, and we tell you which before we start.
Why is the WhatsApp price a range?
A photo shows the type and size, but not everything: whether an AC coil is copper or aluminium, or whether the compressor is still inside. The range narrows to one number once we see and weigh it.
What if I don't agree with the final price?
You don't have to sell. Nothing is loaded until you've agreed and been paid.
Do you take items that still work?
Yes, but we price them as scrap, by the metal inside. If your AC or fridge still works well, you may get more selling it second-hand.
Do you give a receipt?
A UPI payment is its own record. For cash, you can photograph the scale reading and the amount. We're happy to wait while you do.
