Copper is the most valuable thing we buy, and the easiest to underpay for. We sort it into grades with you watching, weigh each grade separately, and pay at the published rate.
Five grades, five prices
Knowing which grade you have is the best protection against being underpaid.

Copper scrap prices in Hyderabad follow the national and international copper price (traders watch the London Metal Exchange and MCX in India). When that moves, every scrap buyer's rate moves with it, which is why our rates page carries a date.
Bright and clean pays the most
Bare bright wire is uncoated, unpainted and shiny: think stripped house wiring or motor rewinding offcuts. Clean pipe with no fittings comes next. Anything with paint, solder, oxidation or brass joints attached is mixed copper.
Cable is priced by what's inside
For insulated cable, the rate depends on how much of the weight is copper. A thick single-core cable might be over half copper, a thin multi-core one far less. We can weigh a short cut sample to agree the yield with you.
Separate it, and you earn more
Mixed bags get the mixed rate. If you have time, sort the pipe from the wire and cut off the brass fittings. Each pile then gets its own, higher rate.
Never burn cable to remove insulation.
Burning PVC gives off toxic smoke, open burning of waste is banned in India, and it damages the copper so it grades lower. Sell it as cable, or strip it with a cutter.

Is there a minimum quantity for copper?
Small amounts are fine if they're part of a bigger pickup. For copper on its own, send the approximate weight and we'll tell you if it's worth a trip.
Do you buy brass?
Yes: taps, valves, fittings and brass hardware, weighed separately from copper.
Should I strip the insulation myself?
Only if you can do it with a cutter or stripper, safely. Never by burning.
